Missouri rent increase notice

Missouri landlords must give at least 30 days’ notice before raising the rent on a month-to-month tenancy. There’s no statewide rent control.

Notice: Per the Missouri AG, month-to-month rent can be raised with one month’s notice covering a full rental period (RSMo § 441.060).
Rent control: Local rent control is preempted (RSMo § 441.043, as amended 2025).
