- Month-to-month and week-to-week: 5-day notice to pay or vacate, or (month-to-month) a 14-day notice to vacate with no right to cure. Lease tenants under one year also get a 5-day pay-or-vacate notice.
- Lease violations
- 5-day notice to remedy or vacate, or a 14-day notice to vacate; a repeat breach within one year allows a 14-day notice with no cure. Periodic tenancies end only at the end of a rental period; tenancies with rent paid more often than monthly need notice equal to one rent period.
