North Dakota rent increase notice

North Dakota landlords must give at least 30 days’ notice before raising the rent on a month-to-month tenancy. There’s no statewide rent control.

Notice: Written notice at least 30 days before the end of the month; the tenant may then terminate at month’s end on 25 days’ notice.
Rent control: No statewide rent control; rent may not be raised during a fixed lease term.
